Subject: 2012 HDMA Timed Event Challenge – June 28 & 29, 2012
Greetings from Tsuu T’ina Nation! This year the Spirit Horse Rodeo Club is featuring the First Annual Timed Event Challenge at the Redwood Rodeo Grounds, Tsuu T’ina Nation! The Challenge will feature our HDMA Youth Rodeo Program students who have worked hard all year long in the riding program. We are excited as the students will showcase their year-long learning in a professional rodeo atmosphere. The Spirit Horse Rodeo Club and the Harry Dodginghorse Memorial Agriplex share similar values – culture, animals, rodeo, and family.
The Timed Event Challenge is two-one day performances. Beautiful hand crafted buckles will be presented to the Average Champion of each of the following events; Tie Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Junior Barrel Racing (15 years and under), Sr. Breakaway Roping (50 Years and Over), and our HDMA Novice Barrel Racing Event.
There will be a Final Four Show Down in the Major Events for Cash Prize Money and A Final Show Down Championship Buckle; Tie Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, and Ladies Breakaway Roping. In addition to the rodeo events we will feature the Tiny Tot Barrel Racing (7 years of age and under) which will take place on Thursday and a calf scramble on Friday for children 1-12 years of age.
The Spirit Horse Rodeo Club planning team has huge responsibilities in meeting requirements for prize money, awards and production costs; we humbly request your organization to join our sponsorship family.
Sponsors are an integral part of the Timed Event Challenge. We make every effort to please sponsors through on-site advertisements and pre-publicity.
